Apparently, not everyone wants a terrifyingly agile metal beast in their home. Cartwheel Robotics, founded by a Boston Dynamics alum who found his former employer’s creations “creepy,” is betting on Yogi, a “social robot” with soft skin designed to be an approachable companion. Its main job is to be a “little sidekick,” which sounds a lot better than hauling boxes until its battery dies.
